Stephanie Fischer, Social Media Student Liaison

My name is Stephanie Fisher. I am 25 years old and am a Nursing student at UTMB. Before college, I was in the U.S. Army for 4 years, in which served 1 year in Afghanistan in 2010-2011. It's during this time that I realized I wanted to pursue nursing, having been assigned to a hospital unit. In 2013 after my service, I had my beautiful 4-year-old daughter who keeps me on my toes, especially during nursing school!

Upon graduation, my goal is to work in critical care, peruse a graduate degree to be a Nurse Practitioner, and possibly be a life flight nurse.

I am so excited to be part of the I.V. league team. I love everything it stands for. It's such a positive, empowering place that helps so many including myself! I attend tutoring sessions regularly at I.V. League and they have helped me immensely in multiple courses. I love my job here at I.V. and I can't wait to see what the future holds!"
