Why choose I.V. League Tutoring when I’m already enrolled in classes in school?

Nursing school
is incredibly difficult and every student can benefit from additional instruction and teaching in the way that they learn best. Most class sizes are large and cannot be personalized. Due to the small class sizes and individualized session preparation, you can learn in an environment where you thrive best and are provided with nursing education tailored to your learning needs.

What kind of tutoring services do you offer?

We are able to offer tutoring sessions for every nursing course in the LVN, ADN, BSN, and MSN programs for every nursing school in the country. We currently offer individual, group, and Skype tutoring sessions. We currently have a fabulous
NCLEX Preparation course to assist students in preparation to sit for the boards.

What is your pass rate for students enrolled in your tutoring program?

We currently have a 100% pass rate for students who attend regular tutoring as “prescribed” in their
Plan of Care provided by their tutor.

How can I pay for tutoring classes?
A.
We currently accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards through our online booking system

Do you offer payment plans?
A.
Some of the tutoring packages do allow for payment plans on an individual case-by-case basis. Contact our Business Office to discuss your individualized payment plan.

How do you conduct the tutoring sessions?
A.
Tutoring sessionsare individually tailored and are constantly evolving. Generally speaking, we provide direct content teaching and review from the materials from your course. We also answer questions, explain difficult concepts, pull out testable material to narrow your study focus, offer Rapid Fire Question and Answer sessions, provide interactive Test Reviews, and provide pertinent videos, drawings, visual aides, handouts, and recordings to enhance your learning experience. Basically, we are a jack of all trades and run around for 2 hours making sure you grasp all of the concepts!

How do I book a session?
A.
If you are a new student, fill out the enrollment section on the website. Once we receive your enrollment, we will contact you to discuss your individual needs and then you are free to book your sessions at I.V. League Booking

How do I pay for a session?
A.
Sessions can be purchased on our booking site. We offer group tutoring rates, individual and group tutoring packages that are discounted, and more. Prepaid credits and tutoring packages never expire!

How will I know if I’m making progress?
A.
We provide you with an evaluation after every session that evaluates your performance in the tutoring session as well as your tutor’s performance. We use the evaluations to change your Plan of Care if necessary, provide recommendations to enhance your sessions and private study time, and to provide the best tutoring services to you while meeting your individual learning needs. We keep track of your grades for every course and monitor your progress while providing suggestions for improved study habits. Your test grades improving and your confidence soaring are the best indicators of success.

How do I know how many tutoring sessions I need?
A.
We work with you to formulate an individualized Plan of Care with you based on your individual needs. Your tutor will suggest a tutoring schedule that you both agree to in order to maximize your success. Your individualized Plan of Care can be amended at any time.

How can I prepare for my tutoring sessions?
A.
We recommend that you ready your course material in your textbook, study your powerpoints, and write down any pertinent questions for your tutor prior to your session. The more prepared you are for your session, the better your success!

What are your tutoring hours?
A.
We are available for tutoring sessions Monday thru Friday, 9am-9pm and Sunday 1pm-9pm.

Can I request a special session for my individualized needs?
A.
Yes. Speak with your tutor about your concerns and we can provide extra sessions for you outside of our scheduled sessions to maximize your success.
